    clutch/engine chatter??! help! m42

    Hey r3v gents!

So tonight, I got my car running pretty well and got on her a bit for the heck of it. I take her up to about 5700 rpm and right when I shift, I hear a noise as if the engine is chattering. still drove fine, so I parked her and let her sit.

About an hour later, I drive her again (babying her), and notice a funny chatter now coming from what seems to be the clutch?! Everytime I shift, I get a noticable vibration in the clutch pedal as well as the chatter noise from the engine bay?! The noise is only apparent if I shift above 3k rpm or go above 3k rpm, then it'll chatter without shifting

Any ideas on what might have happened? The car idles fine, starts up everytime, but there is a definite chatter and vibration when driving? Seems as though there is something rattling around!

    Any help would be appreciated!!

Usually it's the flywheel. Did you resurface it and balance it?
