circlip on shift rod tranny side

on the shift rod one side is held on by a circlip and two yellow washers, but in a diagram the other side that is closer to the tranmission is held by o rings and a different type of circlip. Is it ok to hold the other side by the same two yellow washers and circlip?

Thats fine, in fact thats how most of these cars are.
