I have been assembling parts for a manual conversion of a 90 325i (airbag car). I have everything but the flywheel at this point.
Looking at the realoem.com display, there seems to a number of flywheel parts and I want to be sure I get everything I need.
I purchased the pressure plate/clutch from Ireland Engineering and noting the model year they said I should be using a single mass flywheel.
Can I get some advise on parts I'd need beyond the single mass flywheel and flywheel to crank bolts? For example, do I need the "shim" (item 10 in the realoem display) dustplate, etc. Also, what's the bearing+felt+caps (items 1-4) in the realoem display? I already purchased a pilot bearing but I wasn't clear if the felt+caps were required as well...
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
