And are all the shifters now the same? After reading a bunch of old threads I went searching for the P# given for the 1.9 and 2.5 Z3 shifters to see which I could get cheaper. I couldn't find anything but the posts I pulled the Part #s from.
I went searching at Pelican parts, and they didn't have a Z3 shifter. So I went to RealOEM to find the part number, and low and behold it's different than what is given.
25117527252
I used real OEM to reverse this part number and find what cars it's used on. This is the list:
Part 25117527252 (Shift lever) was found on the following vehicles:
E46: Details on E46
E46 325xi Sedan
E46 325xi Touring
E46 330xi Sedan
Z3: Details on Z3
Z3 Z3 1.9 Roadster
Z3 Z3 2.5 Roadster
Z3 Z3 2.5i Roadster
So what's the scoop these days? Talk around here has been as if the 1.9, 2.5 and ix shifters are all different. And now I see that the part number is all the same?
Does anyone know how this new part number compares to all the old shift levers, or which shift lever it comes closest to matching?
Thanks guys :)
