"Wave Washers" used with bolts for diff cover

I am going to be changing a differential cover, and from what I am reading I will need to use new "wave washers". What the heck are these, and is there a part number for them?

You can usually find those at Lowes and sometimes at Home Depot.

Forgive my stupidity, but will these just be in the home depot washers section as "wave washers", and I just pick one that looks like the right size?

They will be in the cabinets that have the Metric fasteners. Just match up the ID.
