Swap info, from e36 to e30

Do anybody knows if an E36 diff will be compatible with an E30 rear end?. Im finishing my E30 project and just found a e36 only** junk yard. Maybe I can get a good 3.73, at a nice pice. But I need to know if it will be a match. Thanks.
