    What broke?! *vid*

So i made it threw 1000 miles of break-in (new clutch/flywheel/trans/slave-cyl), but the first time i really hammer on the car it breaks!

During a hard 3-4 shift, the clutch went down but never came back up. To me if felt like i had lost hydraulic pressure. I changed out the clutch master and line to the slave (brand new). after hours of bleeding, im still left with no clutch operation and a crazy rotational grinding noise when pressing the clutch pedal to the floor.

    any ideas?

The answer is hiding underneath your bellhousing.

zf? like the M3 slave or the m20 e30 slave? I'm gonna guess something is floating in your bell housing. probably broken pressure plate teeth.

I had this happen to my car mid highway run, ended up that slave died.

did you remove your old slave to see any carnage inside and see if the pin was still there??

the pin of a slave shot out of the slave and ended up falling in the bellhousing hole, I cut a 2" hole in bellhousing w hole saw to extract and check on it.

you could also check on the pivot pin/clutch fork/bearing, my friend just broke clutch fork pivot pin in his car (not a bmw, but under similar conditions)

Sooo would you recommend against the southbend stage 3 kit then? Or do you think you didn't give t enough miles to break it in?
