Drive flange

So I bought an 3.73 LSD, and on the way home I think I bent this lil part here:





Is it ok to transfer the the flange I have on non LSD to this one?

I asked because http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...93&hg=33&fg=10 said part 1 should not be replaced, I said unless its broken haha. well yeah just looking for clarification and if anyone has done it.
