I know we have small/med/large cases, but the actual LSD - does that change physical dimensions? Say I have a small case, could I buy the guts from a large case and swap over my ring gear?

3 sizes of diff's all not compatible;

168mm ring gear
188mm ring gear
210mm ring gear

they are all very different physically and cannot interchange items.

I've tried fitting 188mm pinion into 210mm case, and 168mm into 188mm.

is not at all close.
