    manual swap

hey guys I am saving up some cash to convert my 89 325i auto to manual and found a 325es (87) in the wrecking yard and as far as I can tell the trans. should bolt up to the b25 engine while only having to change the output bearing? I was also wondering what are you guys using for clutch kit? i'm looking for a street clutch kit that is fairly cheap but will be durable and work nicely for daily driving. what brand/ type of seals are best? after market or OE for the trans? what parts are a must to buy new? regrind current flywheel or replace it? and where can I get the plugs to eliminate the sensors on the E trans? thanks for all the help in advance.

The Sachs OE clutch is a good choice for a daily driver. If you are going to replace the seals, get the OE parts. You will need to find a flywheel for an M20B25 engine. The 325es will probably have a dual mass flywheel that is heavier than the one you want and can't be resurfaced. Otherewise the transmission should work as-is.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
