    Play in Halfshafts

Ive always had some play in my driveline, enough to make for some annoying bucking on and off power at slower speeds and it actually ended up causing me to snap my diff cover where the mount/bushing is a while ago, and now i blew up my whole diff launching it. I always thought the play was coming from inside the diff as thats what the PO reported but looking into it now It seems there is about 1/4inch of rotational play where the halfshaft goes into the hub assembly. Im guessing this is my issue and does anyone know what I need to replace?

    Thanks so much

Motion in either of the CV joints means that the half shaft must be replaced.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

sloppy CV axels can COST you serious damage yes!!

please replace them as they are wear items, you will keep destroying diff internals and external bits!!!
