    Driveshaft Balancer

Hello people. Is the balancer needed on the driveshaft, or can I get away not putting it on? It seems like there is something else that the driveshaft/engine need to turn, but I was told that I need not put it on after I re-install the driveshaft.

Anytime I disconnect the forward end of the drive shaft that has the balancer, it goes in the recycle bin.I know of no negatives to removing it.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Ditto to above. In fact, when I did my last clutch all of the sudden, even though it was marked prior to removal, the dampener started causing some wicked vibs in the car. Chucked it and now all is puss.......
