What I have. An 88is with a 86es trans, late model flex disc, an 89i (5spd) front half of a d-shaft and an 86 rear half of driveshaft. It is a blend. My question is, it seems a few mm too long. I think it is putting a slight angle right at the CSB which causes a vibration. Are there differences in driveshaft lenghts from early to late models? Do I need a thinner flex disk?

Might be a dumb question, but have you loosened the nut in the center and adjusted the length all that you can?sigpic
