5spd swap - console needed?

About to do an auto to manual swap on my '89 ic. The donor car doesn't have a console. Can I use my existing console or is the manual console different?

Same thing.

The console is the same, all you need are the shifter boots.

There's a small metal bracket that attaches to the console that is different between manual and automatic. However, some trimming of the auto bracket will make things fit fine.
