Can someone explain to me the purpose of the oil groove and the associated hole it's supposed to line up with? I believe that I may have overlooked this when I did my clutch, and this is why my tranny has been pissing fluid all the time...not the seal being F'd like I thought.
Bentley says its an oil groove..but why is there any oil that side of the seal?
Also, what do I seal this housing up with. Bentley mentions some BMW sealant, I've heard others mention using loctite? What type?
