I'm not sure if giving your transmission drugs would help anything.

I guess I should have asked is it better to rebuild it or swap it with something else and if so any suggestions, also lsd makes it run smoother lol or at least thats what the talking bunny told me

Im not putting an lsd in the tranny I was talking bout getting an lsd and asking what are some good ones you guys know of. Again im new to the bmw world so please forgive my ignorance

I'd recommend swapping to an auto tranny.

then go boosted S54 and use the M3 trans ;)

but for M10 boost use the E30 M trans IIRC the bellhousing bolts up the same

will the 240 bolt up to a m20 without issue?
i have one available to me to swap my 325i from auto to manual

^^ for your m20 you'll need a g260 off an m20 if you want the gearbox to bolt up fine on the correct angle.
OP Your gearbox should handle a boosted m10 just fine as long as its in healthy shape and your running a good hd clutch. Unless your after the same power as good 'n' tight is running in his m10 turbo with nitrous then upgrade to a larger gearbox from an m30 535i e28/e34 g260/6 which is perfect for stupid amounts of power
