So, I'm gathering parts for my auto to manual swap. I've got just about everything except for a few odds and ends. I'm using an early style steel shift lever carrier (forgive my newbie lingo) that I'll be installing a Z4 shift lever into. The lever that is in there now (bent style) has a metal cap, spring, and nylon washer above the ball part of the lever that don't appear to be removable.
I'm curious what parts I need for the Z4 lever since there doesn't seem to be a way to install the parts that are on the old lever onto the Z4 piece. I pulled up a diagram on realoem:
Are these (3,4,5,6,7) the pieces I need to make this work? If not, can someone point me in the right direction?
