not sure what u guys call it, driveshaft/sideshaft/cv but anyway does anyone know or have the formula to strengthening these ? ....
note that im using street tires...
I don't know of any substitute half shafts that are stronger than the stock parts. The half shafts generally aren't a weak point in the drive train, but worn half shafts can be a weak point.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

these units are pretty strong, the e92 335 uses a 86mm cv just like the e30 does, looks like you had a unusual failure at the outer race/ball area, CV axels usually kill boots before destroying anything else-

what kind of diff are you shocking the axels with?
perhaps time for you to get a Z3m rear X member and run the bigger e36M size halfshafts? or call Driveshaft shop? my friend broke the e36m axels on his boosted 24v so he got DSS axels and stubs and seems to hold up (drag racing)
or perhaps convert to the e34 style bolt on half shafts? those seem to not break under boost-
so like a hks T04Z kind of size? m20 still or m30 or 24v? how many cc? sounds FUN!!! Stock range RPM or high cam?
z3m rear diff will be same strength as any E30 6 cylinder 2500cc unit, both are 188mm. weakness of the e30 is the diff mounting rear plate and CV (you know it better than me lol). later model run 3.15 188mm gears have lighter weight ring gears than earlier 3.15's, less rotating mass :). Are you running a 2 ear rear plate? Drifting likes to snap the rear single ear off the stock E30 unit.
the Z3m rear x member with its arms is an upgrade for e30's, its cv's are the stronger E36M evo2 style (hollow cv shaft style) ~96mm vs 86. USA e36M got these axels in the 3200cc s52 models later in production run.
dss axels and bmw medium case 188mm setup in a local E36 drag car w 4 bolt driveshaft has been proven to mid 9's in 1/4 mile, its pretty stout stuff lol zf 5mt, does not do it though.
is it possible to find the stub axels from a e34 or similar and convert to its Bolt at hub style use its setup instead of the e30 style axel that has a male output end at axel?

2 ear rear diff plate: ala E36, it has 2 mounting ears instead of the one ear on left side for e30. Google search " dual ear z3 diff mount kit " or similar.
Z3 has the same 1 ear mounting for diff, z3 likes to rip sheetmetal out of floor- solution? add more metal to floor and mount 2 ear e36 diff into the arse of z3.
e30's with high power or shock abuse break the mounting ear also, I support a professional european drift team and drift school, I send them many e30 rear diff covers every year that get broken drifting.
if you are running a t4 61 trim depending on boost levels should be close to enough torque to reach this break point or more than enough.
the E30 axel is male at hub side; i.e. it has a pokey thing you shove through the female hole in the hub; CV axel has bolts on one side
e32/34 and others have bolts on both diff and hub side of CV, the axels are also bigger size shaft and larger CV's. obviously wont bolt on so would have to do something like the oem e34 diagram to be able to mount E32/34 CV axels to your e30 -the cv axels would also need to be shortened in length to fit e30.
z3m hubs and trailing arms and CV axel would solve your problem, can install e28/z3m diff flanges pnp into your diff to accomodate 96mm CV's on the halfshafts.
