    Quick Question: Tranny Mount Removal

Does the tranny brace need to come off in order to replace the mounts? The bolts that hold the brace in are so rusted that if I try to untighten them, chances are they will break.

    Thanks in advance.

the whole black bracket? no. you just need to remove the 13 mm nut on top and bottom of the mount and it will slide out. you need to slightly lift the transmission with a floor jack just a hair to release the pressure and they should come out pretty easy.

if that's not enough space, then i suppose it might be easier to remove the whole bracket. they're all 13mm nuts. spray some PB blaster on them and let them soak. or use an air wrench.

Ok good, thanks. Ya the tranny brace bolts are pretty much non-existent loll, if the brace comes out then chances are it ain't going back in. Im doing the engine mounts at the same time so I can lift the engine as well to get more lift. Hope this works

If youre talking about the bolts that are fitted into the body, they can be replaced. PN: 23711130250.
