I have a 4 HP 22 automatic going back in our 89 325i. We're putting the flywheel back on after an engine rebuild but noticed there is a curved side and a straight side to the flywheel and not sure how it goes back on. What is the correction orientation for the autotragic flywheel to bolt onto the engine ?? Couldn't find any info in the Bentley manual or online about this.
At the moment flywheel loosely bolted with the straight side facing the front of the car.
