    Reverse Grind.

Ok so my reverse just recently started to grind.
It only happens if I engage it too fast, but if I do it slow enough then its just like normal :loco:. What would be the problem?

i dunno but either replace the gear with one from a junkyard car or replace the trans with one from a junkyard car. easiest fix.

maybe try a good lube like redline and see if that helps at all.

That is frequently caused by a clutch that isn't fully disengaging. In which case seleting any forward gear will slightly harder than it should be.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Well I had put in a clutch stop and positioned it to where it would be just under the gripping point(i think thats what its called). Is that bad? I lowered it all the way down and now it hasnt grinded since. We'll see how tomorrow goes.

The clutch stop was probably just set to too high. I like to have at least 1/2" of pedal travel between to point where the clutch first begins to engage and where the pedal hits the stop.

^ this. if its not happening anymore than that seems like the logical reason of why it grinded. gotta have some travel to make sure you have a clear engagement. sometimes things get shifted/wear sets in etc and the catch point changes.

Yup, it was definetly because I set the clutch stop too high. It hasn't grinded since I set it all the way down.
I'm going to set it accordingly now.
