    LSD isn't acting so..LSDish

Now that I have sticky tires and IE3's on all four corners, I cannot get my car sideways, even with an M50 and 1st gear clutch kick. I use the same technique I've always used and I can't get this sideways but one wheel is definitely spinning. So what are my options? Is it more cost effective to get a new diff, or simply rebuild mine? How hard would it be to rebuild it?

      Rebuild it is easy IMO...

Buying another diff is cheaper and easier, IMO.

....but buying a used diff brings condition and all that into play.

How much shit are you willing to put up with?

Cars slide better the faster your going, 1st isnt gonna cut it and you need sideways momentum to really break free, Remember when I took you out that was the very top of second, go try that.

How expensive would be a minor rebuild? I just want the original locking a stock new diff would have.

I need to try it on that corner. You had a 4.10, top of second in my car is close to like 65mph lol

              Gay'est 240 I have ever seen

Actually Mark Rolston's 240 makes me want to sell both my kidneys, liver, and lungs for one drive as long as I can live for without the mentioned body parts (a real 240, none of that shit with back seats :P )

rebuild the unit yourself or have it rebuilt.

if you enjoy going sideways, you need a fresh unit or higher locking to pair with uprated footwork etc-

any random LSD of e30 vintage will be .....20+ years old.

I Doubt any random used unit you buy will actually be that great, as the LSD units do wear pretty quickly when actually used. Give me any random used OEM LSD in whatever claimed shape- automatic or non, whatever car its from I can make it pegleg within 2 hours of fun with the right abuse set lol
