    G260 leaking

Hi all. I've been idle for quite a while and so has the e30. When I last moved it a year ago, it began losing trans oil (about a qt.), coming from what looks like where the two halves of the case come together. Initial guess is input shaft seal. Filled it up and just moved it again; still leaks. The trans had very little Getrag rattle after redline install and shifted great. I guess my question is: what can I expect to pay for a re-seal of the trans? I don't think it needs to be rebuilt and am hesitant to take my chances on a used unit. Thanks for your input, r3v -

Just buy the 3 seals and DIY. itll take a good few hours or more but will save you a ton of money. And the seal in the middle i thought was sealed by silicon?

Also the g260 only uses 1.3 qts so if youre guessing a qt leaked out dont drive it. Otherwise say goodbye to your gears. Ask me how i know...
