Ok so my car was vibrating terrribly through every gear due to a bad carrier bearing. I had a buddybwith another driveshaft laying around with a good one on it. I also bought a brand new guibo as well. So i put the new guibo and driveshaft in and its fine up until 40mph and the faster i go the worse the vibrare gets. It gets so bad that it feels like the driveshaft is going to come through the floor. The only thing i did different with the install is take that shield that goes around the guibo off. So now there is only 3 bolts instead of 6.. 3 that go through the driveshaft, through the guibo, and then onto the tranny.

If I am reading this correctly you have rendered the guibo inoperative by bolting the driveshaft directly to the transmission. It sounds like the guibo is now just a big rubber spacer which cannot flex as it should. -

^no bueno. the driveshaft and tranny should not be bolted directly to eachother

You guy are right. I put the guibo on wrong and therefore , yes it was a big spacer. I put it together the right way...driveshaft to guibo and then guibo to tranny. Drives good now. Appreciate it guys!Comment
