    Shifter Making Weird Noise

    Hey,

I went to drive and my shifter started to make a weird noise. It sounds like it is scraping something. When you put a little force onto the shifter, the noise gets louder. When you stop it goes away. I don't know what is hitting what. I need help ASAP.

    Thanks
    Ashar

You are going tyo have to get the car up in the air and inspect the motor/transmission mounts and shifter. My guess is that the shifter is rubbing on the harmonic balancer around the guibo. Why that is happening should be evident on inspection.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

What would i have to inspect on the motor/transmission mounts? Before this the shifter was really lose, there was a bolt missing. I fixed that when that ended, this noise started.
