Clunk when clutch touches the friction point MORE INFO 12/2 NIGHT

So it seems like my car clunks (MAYBE from the rear, that's what it's seems like, but I don't wanna exclude the rest of the car) as soon as the clutch touches the friction point, it may not even be moving yet. It also happens sometimes with the clutch to the floor when engaging a gear, and if you shift badly and jerk the car a bit, it seems to clunk on every jerk back and forth. I can't quite think of any other situation that it makes the noise though.

My car has 128k on it, no idea when transmission/diff fluids were changed. Could it be the diff? Any other ideas?

So...try a fluid change, and then move on to replacing the diff?

So i need to replace PN 26117511454? I'll look under my car tomorrow to see if that thing looks shredded/torn and if there's any play in the driveshaft. How hard would that fix be?

            Bump with more info:
So i went under the car, and the guibo honestly looks fine to my extremely unexperienced eye. It wasn't shredded/torn/soft, etc. The driveshaft, however, has a shit ton of rotational play in it. I could twist it and make a very similar sound to the clank. I'm now 99.9% sure that that play is the cause of the clank, but what could it be?

            Thanks guys!

Been experiencing the same "problem" and I've replaced all bushings, the csb and guibo, and had the driveshaft rebuilt. Everything is tightened up properly as well (clutch is new too) The only thing that hasn't been restored/rebuilt is the diff and the axle half shafts. I would probably look at those as well as check the u-joints on the driveshaft.

My best guess so far is that it's the CSB or the U-joints. I wish it was my guibo, but that thing looks solid. I'll take it to a mechanic next week and find out for sure.
