Clutch pedal eccentric adjustment

One E30 I owned had the clutch pedal eccentric adjustment where the pedal connects to the clutch master cylinder.

The car I have now does not (or does not appear to be).

Is this correct? It appears that realoem might be showing the two possible setups in this diagram here




I would like to have the eccentric adjustment in case I need to takeup some clutch pedal slack.

It does look like there is an alternative assembly. You could change one for the other.
