    Clutch grinding noise, back again.

Have getrag 260, started running low on transmission fluid and started to get a grinding noise when the clutch pedal is pressed. When my foot is off the pedal it's perfectly fine. Suspected a bad TO bearing. Flushed the tranny and added some redline MTL. Noise went away for 100 miles, now it's back just not as loud. Is it about time to throw in the towel and swap in a new clutch kit? Gears engage fine and shifts are alot smoother with the new fluid.

If the noise only occurs when the clutch is disengaged, the problem won't be in the transmission. Time to pull the transmission and change the clutch, etc.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
