LSD rebuild with 944 discs?
Tags: None -
Its similar in some way, i cant find the link that explained why..
and apparently the discs fit, you just need to flip the dog ears.
Im not sure how much more lock up they give though, thats why im asking if anyone has done this before.Comment

What's the point of using 944 discs again? You know you can get OEM discs for less than $50 a pop from your local dealer right?
I picked up four of them last year and had a forum member in SF build me a new diff with 4 discs.Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205

it apparently ramps lockup from ~25% to 3-something% or 42%. I can't remember the exact numbers. Yoshi did a write up. As I understand the factory discs are 2mm and the porsche ones are 2.1, so constantly more friction.
They will be stronger than factory, even simply replacing the ones that are in there now, not even adding more.'84 318i M10B18 147- Safari Beige
