Hello all, was wondering if anyone new if there was anything I had to change to swap out my 3.73 diff (325iC E30) with a 4.1 LSD since the original is not a limited slip. Also wondering if the E30 M3 diff is compatible? Thanks

e30 m3 4.10lsd diff fits. Also, 325is with auto transmissions had 4.10 diffs. If its from an auto, make sure its an LSD and not an open.

Thank you... Me not tell you where to get 4.1 LSD... I'm not a selfish person. Ebay has one right now. I'm pondering on the M3 one, if I don't go through with that one I'll let you know. They want $400.Comment

Would anyone know how much a used 4.10 LSD is worth? Saw one for $400 and $450.. If I do buy one used would you recommend changing anything before install? Thanks.Comment

For a used 4.10 LSD, I wouldn't pay more than $450. That's how much Joel at EuroDepot sells them for and his come sandblasted, painted and a 30-day warranty. He's a reputable seller (I just bought a 3.91 from him) and there having a "make your best offer sale" currently, but it's not clear from their website if that includes 4.10LSDs. There's a guy on this forum (WSTC1) that sells them when he's got them. He's a reputable seller as well. But you can find some occassionally on eBay for less. One recently went for $350. Shipping will run at least $70 usually, so if you can find one local, you'll save at least $70.Comment
