weird rubber and metal guibo

i dont have a pic because it was too dark but has anyone had a guibo on their ETA that was a rubber center and a metal ring on on the edges?

yea i know but my camera wold not take a picture under there... damn smart SLRs but it looks like a normal guibo with a metal band around the edge

If it looks like this one it is an install band and is to be removed. Not sure it would take this style, is it a 6 or 8 bolt one?

ya the old school ones came iwht a metal band to install. I believe for e21s. You can put a band on it. Im not postive leaving it on is bad... but could put it barely out of balance.
