Necessary to change the tranny oil

Since I passed the 200k mile mark, I'm starting to consider some maintanance. The tranny oil was changed when I had the head redone at about 120k. Should I change it asap, not be to concerned and change it if I get the chance, or just let it go for a while more?

    Thanks,

I would definitely change it every 30k.
    Get on it!

I have some RedLine synthetic I bought a while ago, what's the opinion on putting this in a trans with 200k on it? Better to use regular stock oil?

I put redline in mine, and it has 216,000 miles on it. Shifts silky smooth. The Getrags go forever, so no worries. :)

Ok, any tips on jacking the car? Is just putting the front on ramps ok, or does the whole car need to be lifted?

This is what I bought a couple years ago, still ok to go with?

              2 qts of each-
RedLine MTL - 70W80 GL4 for the tranny

RedLine 75W90 GL5+Hypoid Gear Oil for the diff.

I can't remember what I put in my tranny. I think I accidently put in 90.

That sounds right to me, I meant to put MTL in my tranny. The 75W90 goes in the diff.

I would actually life the whole car. Since you fill the tranny until it starts to flow out, it's a good idea to have it level to the amount of fluid is accurate. Just put all four corners on stands, get a fluid pump ($6-$7 from Schucks, NAPA, etc) and fill'er up.
