what can I replace on my trans/shifter assembly w/o removing

trying to weight whether or not its worth the work to drop the whole tranny> If I did, I might as well replace the clutch and get the flywheel lightened.

I REALLY want to replace the carrier bushing in the shift linkage the one where the selector rod meet the transmission

I also need to replace my output seal can this be done w tranny intact?

You can rebuild the linkage and replace both the main seal and shift linkage seal with the tranny in place. Just need to remove the drive shaft.

if you want to replace the knuckle and its foam where the selector rod meets the transmission you need to:

      remove trans mount
      remove guibo
      remove shift linkage unit
then you can get to the selector rod joint.

Yea im doing mine asap and going to blunttech so I dont get some BS wrong gaskets.

Also idk if your reverse light sensor works when it feels like but I just swapped that out yesterday with the Trans in.
I also did my shift kit with the tranny in. hardest part is getting to the bitch clip and getting the new bushing to fit.
Maybe its because I have an early model but my bushing didnt fit. I think uuc has a bushing for there. get that one
m20 is plenty. im simply a drifter.
