    What differential for an ETA?

I have an 87 ETA with only 99k on the clock and i will be buying a TMS chip soon. If i recall correctly the eta has the 2.93 or 2.73 open differential. What would be the best differential to get to replace the stock open diff? Which is better between open and limited slip differentials? I use my car completely for dailying, so any opinions on what would be the best differential for decent gas mileage and better gearing for a little more power.
    Thanks

LSD FTW. One wheel spinning just looks goofy. Lower gear better gas milage. Low gear better acceleration, high gear high top speed

so your saying definately a LSD. Do you know any idea what ratio would pair well with an ETA for good gas mileage and to liven it up a bit with a chip?

Without a doubt LSD. Downside is they are more money but if you have an "es" you already have an LSD stock. They are pretty close gears but i would prob take a 2.93 just for a little better top speed.

i thought it already had a 2.93 in it. If thats true then i would just be upgrading to a LSD instead of open diff. Ive heard somewhere that 3.25s are good too. Any opinions on that?

ok thanks for the help. This is a little off topic now, but is there any other mods that will make the eta feel a little quicker besides this and a chip?
