is AutoZone Lucas transmission stop leak okay for 5spd

I have a leaky Trans and until I save up a couple checks id like to do something about it. Is that Trans stop leak okay or is it only for auto trannys?

I will be getting all gaskets and such when it comes time to do my clutch in about 3 weeks. havnt looked up all the gaskets and shit yet but if u guys wouldnt mind listing the things to reseal the Trans thatd be GREAT!

    Thanks

I wouldn't even worry about it unless its leaking so bad that it will drain in that three weeks. And in that case, stop leak will not help the situation...

I think new seals are not much, might even be cheaper then the leak stop crap. Don't be so R3v.

So R3v?? What are you talking about. Im not taking the Trans apart for new seals and then putting it back in when I plan to.address the Trans and clutch within a month.lol
Im not being so R3v, actually opposite. I dont like any leaks at all

Jink and turbo Jake thanks for the input. Im definitely getting a reseal kit for the Trans when I do the clutch. For now im just gonna check the Trans fluid level and wait it out.

I cant waaait to address this. Clutch kicking has my OEM clutch rattling quite a bit

Make sure to do the crankshaft rear seal while your in there with it all apart, and it's a good time to make sure the oil pan gasket isn't leaking also.

My oil pan gasket does actually have a slight leak so ill get those gaskets along with the crankshaft rear seal. Im so sick.of seeing oil under my car when I lift it but it qill all be gone soon.
What are the transmission seals called?
I know I need a rear main seal and some seal where the Trans meets the drive shaft. Ive been so busy I havnt had time to do the research.
I will be doing a clutch and flywheel at this time also.

Im assuming rear mean seal and rear crank seal are the same.
I just started as an apprentice technician at a Volvo/Subaru/Kia dealership so when I get home im exhausted. Ill be looking up real OEM and these parts this weekend for sure

i just got mine back together this weekend. Completely resealed the tranny front and back. It took me a while to find the correct gasket maker for the input shaft bearing retainer. I installed a new vent too because i'm anal about shit. I also resealed the detent ball cover and replaced the clutch release arm anchor pin thingy. Upgraded to the newer style shifter carrier and replaced all the wear items in the shifter then installed a uuc shifter i stole from my pops pile of parts. I had the driveshaft rebuilt by CCC up in New Jersey. Replaced the vibration damper too. It drives and shifts so sweet. If you need help with resealing your trans i'll help you out Rolling King. You just gotta come up to De.
