Hi! Sorry for starting a new thread, I`m new here :D.
I`ve got an issue with the slave cylinder on my e30. I`ve got an 1990 BMW e30 with an m50b25 swap with the ZF transmission fitted with a single-mass flywheel and clutch from the m20 transmission. I noticed that my slave cylinder had started to leak brake fluid so I wanted to change it. I bought a new one for a bmw e34 (525), which is using the same transmission, but when I was bleeding it, it started leaking brake fluid from the clutch bay meaning that either it`s too short so it`s going out of the sides or it`s already broken which is higly unlikely because it`s brand new. I started thinking that maybe because I`ve got the flywheel from the m20 which is a bit thinner than the original double-mass which came with the gearbox, that the tip of the cilinder doesn`t reach the cluch plate. The one that was already on the transmission looked a lot like an m20 slave cylinder, maybe someone has had the same issues, it`s my daily driver and I`m sick of taking the bus every morning :D.
Thanks in advance!
