    Shift Link-age, M52

So, I have a M52 E30 that i bought and now am very close to a M52 in my much better condition E30. The other car is 1991 318is. Mine it a 1986 325es. I want to know will the linkage that already works in the 318 work in my 325es, my friend a BMW tech seems to think it wont work. I don't really have any idea. I know some people use the 320's link-age others weld to fit.

    Thanks in advance.

Unless you're using the same transmission for the linkage you are using, no.
The G240 and the G260 have two different length linkages and arms.
