    greasing after shifter install?

    just installed my z4 2.5 shifter and i was wondering if you guys greased up the ball to make it easier to shift?

    I usually do.
    You should use a grease that won't eat the plastic bushing.

          Give it a good squirt of the aerosol white grease at least once or twice a year as part of regular maintenance. My parts car nylon was all worn out because it was dry.
