Okay, so i had just bought this car last November and it has been in storage since December. Upon taking it out a few weeks ago i noticed that there was some noise/clunking in the rear in between shifts. It wasn't horrible but it was certainly noticeable. It didn't seem to have any effect on anything while i was driving so i just kind of lived with it. Now the car has an M50 with an E36 transmission. I wanted to spice up the exhaust a little bit so i had a new one put on to give it some more throaty tone. Upon putting in the exhaust the guy who was putting it in noticed that the driveshaft had a lot of play in it. Now me being unfamiliar to what the hell i am driving i couldn't exactly figure out how to go about having to "replace the slip yoke" in the rear of the driveshaft. Is this even possible or will this require having to buy a reman'd driveshaft?
