    318is Differentials

So, does anyone have any suggestions about differentials for a 318is?

The best solution I see would be a 4.44LSD. However, if I'm to use this...from what car would it be taken? E36 318ti Auto? E36 318i Auto?

    Thanks!

Does anyone know just how weak 318is diffs are? I'm planning on running mine with an m50 for as long as I can.

My 92' 318iC has a 4:27 LSD in it...I'm looking into a replacement as I have a whining in the rear and fear the diff. is close to toast....I'm hoping its just the rear wheel bearings

Pretty weak if you're not smooth w/the throttle, the M50's torque will tear it apart if you're hard on the rearend.
