    drive shafts

hello rev i am here at your mercy once again. tonight my question is wheather the first half of a 5 series m20 drive shaft is interchangeble with a regular e30 one. i ask because i swap my motor recently with a m20 from a 5 series and it came with a 5 series tranny. My original drive shaft doesnt bolt up :(. any help will be greatly appreciated. BTW its a 1989 sedan 325i if that helps.

the output flange on that transmission can be unbolted and then you can drop the one from your e30 on it.

The 5 series driveshaft is much longer. There is no reason yours shouldn't bolt up if your car was already a manual.
