    flywheel step specs

Stock spec is .011" but i've seen where people have taken it up to .017" for extra clamping force. Wondering if there are any down sides of using the higher spec? Anybody have any personal experience with this?

I don't know how much wiggle room there is in the height of the friction face before a dragging clutch becomes a problem.

If you really need a stronger clutch, go to a Stage 2 (or greater).
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Maybe people are using the higher spec to give the stock pp and disk more clamping force. I will be using a sachs "618" pp with sport disk.
