    Quick question

I have an automatic 1990 325i coupe and im looking to transmission swap it. Would the manual transmission from a 1991 318is work on my car or are they different?
    Thanks in advance!

Pretty sure they are different. Plus even if it would fit your ratios would probably be pretty messed up.

You could get it to work but the amount of trouble it would be isn't worth it considering the low cost of the correct 260 transmission.

The g240 is way too short and at a weird angle. G260 is the way to go on the m20
