5 Speed swap questions

New to this forum, Just purchased a 1984 325E automatic to add to the stable. I have a 1983 528E 5 speed I am parting out. How much of this existing 5 Speed will transfer to the 325E?

I think you should be able to use the flywheel, transmission, and maybe the clutch pedal. The shifter, transmission cross member, or drive shaft may be different. A test fit will tell. Get a new clutch master, slave, and soft line, and of course a new clutch, throw out & pilot bearing.

Started doing the Realoem.com search and found the drive shafts are different. No surprise there, probably that extra door. Just wondering if someone has done it recently.
