M50 transmission on an M20?

I was wondering if a transmission from a e36 fits on a e30?

it will physically fit, however due to the different angles of slant on the engines it will end up being clocked 10degrees towards the drivers side (opposit issue that 24v swappers have with M20 transmissions). this will necessitate a custom mount, and probably some custom shift linkage as well.
