I just had my tranny rebuilt and installed a new master cylinder and slave cylinder.
When I went to bleed my slave cylinder the pedal felt like crap. I just don't get any travel out of the clutch - it's acting so strange.
So, I took off my slave cylinder to compress the piston, but when I took it off the piston had already popped right out!
I don't know why this would happen - it's brand new!
I tried putting the piston back in the slave cylinder and just hand compressed it a few times. Mounted it back up, and now have the same dead pedal feel. When I go to bleed my clutch and pop the bleed screw, the pedal just time and time again falls straight to the floor.
Any suggestions? Could I have a bad slave cylinder out of the box? Or maybe my clutch, fork or PP are installed incorrectly? I don't get it?
