Yea for sure man. I got worried before when I forgot to mark the splines until I found the two white dotsLeave a comment:

Also make sure that the two halves of the driveshaft are properly aligned. There is ONE orientation that they go together in where they will not create a speed-dependent vibration because they were co-balanced in that orientation. There are usually two white alignment marks in the yokes that are supposed to line up. Clean things up around there & see.Leave a comment:

im saying i dont have a 3 bolt output flange. i have a 4 bolt one so there is nothing in the middle where the guibo would usually go. its just tranny to driveshaft held by 4 bolts. ill take a pic when it gets taken apart againLeave a comment:

k wait you hav 4 bolt out put but on the transmission theres 3 bolts flange
whats in the middle?
take a picture of that please
so thats 7 bolts going into something. Even if its not a guibo its taking the place of a guiboLeave a comment:

well after readin a couple threads some e30s didnt come with guibos at all. i have a 4 bolt output flange and no guibo.
now my question is, can i swap the output flange to a 3 bolt one and use a driveshaft from an auto car?Leave a comment:

damn thats fucked! when i took everything apart there was no guibo! guess OP must have taken it outLeave a comment:

All E30's, manual or autotragic, had guibo's. Without them, there'd be premature wear on the rest of the drivetrain not to mention the transmission.Leave a comment:

Mine had a quibo. If you don't have one, you probably have the wrong DS or your trans is F'd because someone decided to not replace the guibo.Leave a comment:

He has already replaced the CSB. But since in almost all cases a failure of the CSB is caused by bad u-joints in the drive shaft, I'm going with a bad drive shaft.Leave a comment:

From the factory it has no guibo? I didn't know they did that.
I doubt it's the transmission. I'd drop the DS and put on a new CSB before I do anything else. They're like $25 so fuck it if you're wrong. Probably could have been replaced anyway.
Also I've got a spare 4HP22 laying around from when I did my 5-speed swap. Take it off my hands lol.Leave a comment:

If you feel the vibration as if it was from under the car and if the rubber mount of the previous CSB had failed, then it is almost certain that the vibration is from bad u-joints in the drive shaft.Leave a comment:
