Interesting. I wonder what happened to mine? Does not appear to even have the bolt hole for one. Mine was produced in 04/86. Was this a update to later models or earlier models or are they all supposed to have the stop? I have not missed it. Lol.

Replace that rubber piece with an aluminum (or similar) spacer and it tightens up the slop a bunch.
