    Clutch Knock?

Just in the past couple days, sometimes when I push the clutch pedal down I can feel some sort of knocking through it. It's not hard and doesn't always happen, but when it's there it's noticeable.

Any ideas as to what the cause is?

U joints? Maybe the shift in load is causing them to knock?

does the knock happen as you are releasing once the clutch 'lets go' or is it anytime the pedal is even touched?

I only feel it when I'm stopped and press the clutch pedal all the way down, at least I haven't noticed it while I'm shifting in motion or any other times.

That will be a problem inside the bell housing. It could be a bad throwout bearing, bad pressure plate, or bad clutch disc
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
