I don't know, I'm just looking at whats out there. I heard of the z3 shifter, but I looked on ebay but couldn't find one.

His short shift kit looks to be some refresh items, that wear out and need replaced, and a different shift lever and a weighted knob. From the looks of it, it's basically a lever swap not comparable to UUC. I did this to my vert and it was a huge upgrade. UUC is much more expensive, if I remember correctly.

True. I guess I should have thought BluntTech and other places for z3 or z4 one. How do they compare to others? How much less of a throw is it?
And yea blunttechs does come with a good about of stuff for 200. And the uuc does cost a bit.

Ok, good deal. I'll check them out. Do you know the part number for it? and I want the one from the 1.9 right? and I can use the all the same bushing stuff for my e30.

Get the blunttech kit. Email him if you dont want the Shift knob. I recommend it 100%. It was a night & day difference from the 20 y.o. stock one.

Yea I was thinking of just going with the blunt tech but I can get a uuc shifter for a 100 bucks. And does anyone have a recommended knob? I know an odd question but I'm doing.a.swap and don't have one
